Our ‘Tenant Organizing Fundamentals’ training is an in-person, two-part training that emphasizes grassroots organizing practices, building relationships grounded in mutual self-interest, one-to-one relational meetings; and building the foundation of powerful tenant unions.

Tenants will meet and build relationships with other tenants organizing in SC.

By the end of the training, attendees will be able to clearly state their self-interest, be equipped to have powerful conversations with their neighbors and have tools to start organizing with tenants in their complex, city, or state.

Kenya Cummings of SC Housing Justice Network will facilitate this training. SC Housing Justice Network will also provide a delicious lunch, travel supports (gas gift cards) and childcare. Please indicate if you’ll need any supports when registering.
